Ayoluwa African Dance Theatre, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit community based outreach educational cultural group who engages in performing, teaching and practicing authentic traditional Guinea West African folklore.
Ayoluwa means the "Joy Of Our People" and displays the joy in the form of dance engulfed in the rhythmic sounds of the drums.
Ayoluwa was originally founded in Brooklyn, New York City by Aisha Rivers in 1992 and is currently based in Savannah, GA.

Our mission is to provide an educational dance program to enhance the communities awareness of the diversity of African life and customs, as well as to convey the "lived history" of cultures worldwide. Also to create an enriched learning experience for greater appreciation and understanding of African Art and Culture.

| Aisha Rivers is one of the most energetic and talented dance teachers you'll ever meet. She also teach Modern, Jazz, Ballet, African Funk Aerobics, Fusion, and Hip-Hop Jazz. She was awarded four dance scholarships to Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Stony Brook College, Long Island University and has been the leading force in instruction of traditional African dance specializing in Guinea West African Dance.
